VALERIE MA

Valerie is a media composer, violinist, and orchestrator. characterised by her classical influences, translated into her storytelling.

 

She graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2025 with a Bachelor of Music degree in Film and Media Scoring, providing her experiences in composing, producing, mixing, music editing and score prepping in the studio.

 

Valerie has also interned for Bear McCreary’s film/TV scoring Emmy-winning studio Sparks and Shadows, and composed for several short films that have been included in festivals around the globe.

 

Greatly inspired by icons such as Ravel, Shiro Sagisu and Nobuo Uematsu, Valerie aims to capture an intimate yet powerful sound that immerses audiences.
